CVDI is pleased to report that the Phase II of the Industry University Cooperative Research Center (IUCRC) on the theme of Visual and Decision Informatics was formally approved for funding by NSF on Feb. 13, 2017. It is exciting to note that this will be the biggest active NSF IUCRC in the country with 7 universities and over 40 industry partners, and will generate over $12M in funding over the next five years. This center will generate more research opportunities for students and faculty at UL Lafayette and several other universities, both in the USA and Finland. The Center will be led by Dr. Vijay Raghavan of the School of Computing and Informatics at UL Lafayette.
