Training Opportunities
The NIMSAT Institute now offers state emergency management training through the GOHSEP Training Academy and certified FEMA courses. Our Public-Private Partnership Officer, James "Jim" Williams, MBA, LEM-P, is certified to teach FEMA courses and is an official EMAT coordinator for state disasters. The following courses will be held at Abdalla Hall at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. 635 Cajundome Blvd. Lafayette, LA. Most courses follow a 2-day format from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 8:00 - 12:00 pm the next day.
