The Louisiana Center for Health Innovation at UL Lafayette has partnered with the Opportunity Machine – Lafayette’s Center for Entrepreneurs and Louisiana Economic Development to provide a new opportunity for students and faculty to get involved in the Opportunity Health Accelerator and Get Started Medical Pitch Competition during the annual Innovate South Conference in Lafayette, LA.

Opportunity Health is a hybrid accelerator program focused on healthcare companies that are looking to improve care, reduce costs and create new efficient approaches to problems within the medical industry. The six startups chosen to participate in the program will receive access to C-level healthcare industry leaders who are willing to open their facilities’ doors to test innovative products/services, mentor startups, and potentially invest to create smart partnerships.
